The NWA East kicked off the new year and a new decade with a night of uncontrolled, wild action. With no championship committee to provide order, the roster ran wild during a completely unpredictable night. After a series of interview interruptions, NWA East Heavyweight Champion Ashton Amherst and Ryan Mitchell brawled from the backstage area right into the right where that night's title match would begin! After some blatant interference, Ashton retained the title, but a furious Mitchell claimed he was entering the Golden Ticket Battle Royal later in the evening!

Just when it seemed like order was restored and NWA East Brass Knuckles Champion Jason Cage was ready to compete against Patrick Hayes, the familiar music of "Do You Wanna Touch Me" by Joan Jett hit and the once-banned Devine Devine shocked the crowd as he walked through the curtain! Devin got on the mic to explain that with no committee, no one could enforce those banned from NWA East and since no one could stop him, and he was entering himself in the match to match it a 3 way dance! Devin's unexpected return proved to knock the champion and challenger off their game, and Devin was able to get the victory and score the gold... with outside interference from Stacy Hunter, of course.!

After 10 great years in the sport, it was time for Jake Garrett to say goodbye. But at the beginning of the night, Jake & his partner in recent months, Blue Dragon, were confronted by Shirley Doe. Doe mocked Jake for being a comedy sidekick and cartoon character in recent months instead of the vicious monster he knew he could be. Jake told him he'd kick Doe all around The Jacob Woll Pavilion with his cartoon character tag team partner, Blue Dragon! Doe grabbed the mic before the bell and informed the crowd that since the locker room hated him, he didn't have a partner for the match. Just then, Payton Graham hit the ring with Greg Cherry and Graham attacked Blue Dragon. Graham joined forces for Doe for the tag match. Doe eventually pinned Jake with his feet on the ropes, and demanded his hand be raised by Jake because he was "a winner" and Jake was "a loser" in his last match. However, Tony Summers announced that the match MUST continue! Jake Garrett was not going to be denied in his farewell performance as he and Blue Dragon picked up the win as Jake planted Doe with a DDT! The crowd in attendance gave Jake a well deserved round of applause after the bout and everyone here at NWA East surely is thankful for Jake's hard work.

Next up, Ashton stormed to the ring and got on the mic to proclaim that Mitchell was out of chances for the title when a shocking return took place: Jon Burton walked through the curtain! Burton thanked the crowd for welcoming him back and also told Ashton he was on notice that Burton was coming to get the NWA East title.

Before the Scottie Gash/Troy Lords match could get underway, it was noticed that recently fired wrestlers Chris LeRusso, Gregory Iron, and Bobby Beverly were sitting in the front row. Ring announcer Tony Summers questioned the trio as to why they were in the building and they informed the crowd that they bought a ticket to watch the show. During the course of the match, the trio jumped in the ring to attack Lords and Gash, but Mad Mike ran out of the locker room with a chair to make the save. With no authority figure to stop them, a six man tag match started with Lords joining forces with Gash and Mike to battle the recently released trio. LeRusso spiked Gash in the face during the course of the match and was able to steal the win, after which the released trio left through the side exit of the building.

In an excellent back and forth contest, NWA North American Tag Team Champion Brandon K was able to score a win over the young James Ross, who has been a thorn in his side for several months now. However, Ross was able to take the veteran to the limit and a title rematch might be in the future of "Good Ol' JR" and his partner Patrick Hayes!

Following intermission, BC Steele's colorful group made their way to the ring and BC stated that since his team actually won a match to give themselves to shot at the title, they should be awarded the belt because no other team earned a shot. BC was cut off by Ryan Reign who said he wanted to earn the titles and asked for any team to come to the ring. The Straight Jacket Mafia answered the challenge, however, they made the mistake of pushing around ref, Piston Wiley, who finally snapped! Piston said he had enough and entered himself into the match with Travis Fame! After action all over the place, BC Steele tried to slide in a title belt, which Ryan Reign picked up. The rookie hesitated but then clocked Piston with the title to get the win! RPW and Reign were the new NWA East tag team champions! The back-stabbing Reign wasn't done yet as he and RPW put the boots to Fame. All of the sudden, JB Destiny hit the ring to chase away BC and company. Destiny had an announcement though, he was offering his services to Fame as a tag partner to go after the tag belts, which Fame accepted!

CJ Sensation finally got his hands on Dash Bennett after months and months of chasing him and his Three Rivers Championship. However, this was his last shot at the title, and both Dash & CJ wrestled like it. CJ went all-out, trying anything and everything to get his hands on the gold. Meanwhile, the match was marred by interference by Stacy Hunter on behalf of her charge Bennett. But it wasn't interference, but a handful of Sensation's tights on a roll-up that secured the victory for Bennett, thus ensuring Sensation would not get a shot at the Three Rivers Title as long as Bennett had the title!

Throughout the course of the night, the top ten wrestlers of the decade were announced. Nikita Allanov, Dash Bennett, Quinn Magnum, Mad Mike, Devin Devine, Paul Atlas, Brandon K, & Scottie Gash rounded out #10-#3. The number two wrestler was announced as Chris Taylor. When Crusher Hansen was announced as #1, he made his way to the ring, but he was reminded that he still didn't have a job in the NWA East. Crusher said it didn't matter because he had just gotten his referee license, and he would once again become the "Enforcing Official". He was interrupted by Taylor, who challenged Hansen to a match. Since Hansen was a referee, he called for the bell and the contest started. At one point, Crusher's "little" brother Tony and BC Steele tried to get involved in the bout. Hansen didn't realize it was actually BC Steele and called for the bell, disqualifying himself!

Next up, NWA East owner Jim Miller called all wrestlers, managers, and staff to the ring. Miller planned to explain his decision to disband the Championship Committee, but when it appeared the wrestlers didn't care what Miller had to say, he gave the mic back to Tony Summers and the Golden Ticket Battle Royal began! Patrick Hayes, Dash Bennett and Ryan Mitchell were the last three wrestlers in the ring. Despite the two-on-one disadvantage to Mitchell, Hayes proved there's no honor among thieves and eliminated Dash. But, Mitchell was able to eliminate Hayes soon after to get the win to earn title shots at all NWA East titles during 2010! As Mitchell celebrated, Dash ranted about Mitchell costing him an opportunity. Mitchell decided to cash in a shot at the Three Rivers title then and there! An assist from CJ Sensation at ringside allowed Mitchell to shock the world and capture the Three Rivers Title, his first championship in NWA East!

Will the anarchy continue?! The only way to find out is to be there live when the NWA East returns to action February 20th!
